Beaudies House of Hockey has developed a progression system that helps adults progress towards their hockey development goals. Each level will provide an unique set of on ice skating and skills with specific drills to assist participants. Coach Debbie and Coach Mike are both Spring and Minor Hockey coaches who will make your experience a memorable.
Adult Learn to Play Hockey
Beginner Level 1: The program is to take new or never played hockey individuals and work on the basics of skating and working towards Intro to Power Skating in a comfortable, instructive, safe and fun environment. Full Hockey gear is required.
Adult Power Skating
Intermediate Level 2:The program will encompass graduated Level 1 players and lower level recreational hockey players playing men’s, ladies or coed hockey. During this course players will receive formal instruction on elongated strides, recovery, inside/outside edges, V-starts, forwards/backwards cross-overs, backwards skating, pivots, Mohawks and stopping. Full Hockey gear is required.
Power Skating and Hockey Skills
Advance Level 3: The program will encompass graduated Level 2 players and intermediate to advanced recreational hockey players. During this course players will follow the Hockey Canada Skill Development Pyramid which starts with teaching/correcting the technical skills of skating and skills leading into individual tactics, team tactics, team play and game like strategies. Full hockey gear is required.
