Program is designed for both boys and girls aged 3 and up and will have a progression of levels for each child to go through as the master the art of skating and ringette development.  Your child will have an opportunity to learn how to skate and play ringette no matter where their current skating or ring skills are set.  BHOH, will place your child in the most age and skill appropriated level in our program to help continue and grow their skating and/or ringette development.

Requirements for Ringette:  Tot and Youth Ringette Players all need to wear full hockey equipment and have a properly sized ringette stick.  All Helmets must be CSA approved with a full face cage and must wear a BNQ neck guard.

Ringette Recruits Program (Level 1): Class Size 1:6 (Teacher Ratio) 

BHOH offers 45 minute Group lessons without parents.  Our Ringette Recruit Program is designed to "recruit" new and aspiring ringette athletes to join our non-competitive learn to play ringette program.  The program is designed to introduce young skaters who demonstrate a passion for ringette in a non-competitive atmosphere.  New to skating and ringette.  

Pre-requisite:​ Non required.  Full Ringette Equipment is required.  


Ringette Rookie Program (Level 2): Class Size 1:6 (Teacher Ratio)
BHOH offers 45 minute Group lessons without parents.  Our Ringette Rookie Program is designed to take your young recruits and develop their skating and skills in a non-competitive learn to play ringette program.  This program will focus on the basic FUNdamentals including skating, passing, shooting, ring control and a fun scrimmage to end the day.  Pre-requisite: Passing Ringette Recruits or Learn to Skate Level 1 Program.  Players must be able to fall down and get up without assistance of a coach.


Future Stars Ringette Program (Level 3): Class Size 1:6 (Teacher Ratio)

BHOH offers 45 minute Group lessons without parents.  The Future Stars Ringette Program is best suited for the young player with little to intermediate experience.  The program will help prepare for participants to join a Ringette Team.  The program can be for the competitive or recreational player.  The focus will be on the development of strides, balance, edge control, and puck control.  Each session will include a fun scrimmage at the end.                      

Pre-requisite: Passing of Ringette Recruits program or a Standardized Learn to Skate Program.  Players must be able to fall down and get up without assistance, able to skate forwards, glide, make snow and move backwards.  


Rising Stars Ringette Program (Level 4):Class Size 1:6 (Teacher Ratio)

BHOH offers 45 minute Group lessons without parents.  Rising Stars Ringette Program is designed for players that have achieved a competent level of skating and ringette experience and are ready to take their game playing skills to the next level.  Through the use of ringette drills, the focus of this program is on skating technique, edge work, speed, ring control, stick handling, and shooting technique.  

Pre-requisite: Passing of Future Stars Hockey or those in Bunnies
